Well, as some of you can probably see, we got a new skin! About fucking time too. I just got it up, so there will probably be a few flukes and glitches here and there, but hopefully they’re not that many and not that noticeable. If there is something though, feel free to tell me so I can try fix it.
Yes, yes, I closed the Activity Check. Felt a bit like belated spring cleaning, but hey, we got rid of them dusty accounts. If your account got deleted you can always feel free to rejoin with the same username—proboards will give you all your posts and such. You just have to tell us so we know to move your character from archives and back to the ‘accepted’ board.
Concerning digivolution requirements and crests—we felt that they were a bit a lot unfair so we modified it. Now the posting requirements for the digivolution stages are more reasonable, though the DT paid will stay the same. So those of you who understand them don’t have to spelunk through the information, basically you only need 20 posts to digivolve to champion now, 40 for ultimate, 75 for mega. The jogresses have been lowered to 80 for ultimate-level and 100 for mega-levels. For the new crest requirements, just hit up the Mission Request Board the thread where Mission Requests are explained.
We’ll also have an advertisement contest soon specifically, whenever I get off my lazy ass so watch out for that.

Alright, it’s been almost a month. As you may have noticed, the Digi-Modify Contest has reached its conclusion! Please go congratulate Phantasm for their first-place entry, the card Cat’s Eye! Second place went to Caper with GigaSeadramon’s Command, third place to Jay with Agunimon’s Blessing, and an honorable mention to Kitsie with Heaven’s Aid. Ehhh, I’ll keep this short ‘cause there’s not really much to say. There’s an activity check up in the “News Bulletin” board, so you guys better check that out & post there. I know it’ll sound kinda mean, but I prefer everyone, even those that just joined take the time to post. Why? Because I tend to be scatter-brained & I sometimes delete people by accident (so here’s where you’ll cross your fingers & hope it’s Roasty that gets to it :’D). SO YEAH! Better chance of not getting deleted if you post. Just sayin’.
Lastly, in case you haven’t noticed the NPC contest closes this Thursday the 23rd. Anyone that wants to participate has until Thursday to post up their entry. Roasty will judge it, so yeah! I won’t get to cross-examine your entries.

In case you guys hadn’t noticed, we closed the advertising contest and the nickname contest and all prizes have already been announced and all DT given. With those two contests out of the way, we’ve now opened a new one! So, go check out the ‘events’ tab or just drop by the ‘contest’ board and stop staring at me like I just grew a second head.
We also opened up a staff in-training recruiting-thing and I’m happy to announce that our new sexy minions are Guestie and Caper! May they enjoy their staff-powers and not abuse it or Roasty & I will eat them (and not in a nice way). So, if you guys need some wild digimon RPd you can go molest them until they give in. Orrr, just molest them if you feel like it. They’re there to take abuse anyway :| (Careful, though, they bite back).

Well, well, well! Ten days since we’ve opened and we already have nearly forty members. Now, I’d say that’s pretty fucking good. Just keep being awesome guys! And RP more! I want to see a shitload of RPs. Anyway, for those of you that don’t know yet, the Advertising Contest closes next Sunday. Yes, next Sunday. June fifth to be exact—get everything in order by then or else you’ll miss your chance! Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to participate in this contest though, Roasty & I already have plenty more planned for you.

For those older members of DR that are interested in returning; we sort of revamped the whole thing so you might want to re-read everything. However, you are still welcome. If you want any of your old threads or apps to be moved back simply notify a staff member with the name (or link) to the app/thread and we will move it to the corresponding board for you! And, of course, if you won something at a contest previously and are interested in keeping it, you can tell staff about that too, just have your evidence, mmk? DIGI-MODIFY CARD CONTEST
Since we closed the NPC Contest, we have a new contest up! You guys will get to create your own digi-modify cards! For those of you who don’t know, they appear in season 03 of digimon—Tamers. However, you don’t need to have watched the series to make the cards, just drop by our shop board where you’ll see a list of the digi-modify cards we do allow on the site—might help you in thinking up about what we expect. Now, I feel like I’ve started rambling so I’ll end this here. Enjoy the new contest guys!

Q and A Any questions about the site can be directed to the staff and members here. In the end, the staff answer is the correct one, should you be given two different answers. Nobody knows more about this place than we do, after all! However, that doesn't mean the members won't ever be right. Depending on your question, they may very well be able to help you on their own. Guest friendly!
Archives All those old, dusty, finished posts will be moved here to avoid board clutter. Although regular checks through the whole site will be made, feel free to message a staff member to let them know your thread is done. We'd appreciate it.
Applications Within this board is where you will find the application form and the list of potential starter digimon. We request that you keep "work in progress" applications on your computer rather than clutter up the board.
Mission Request Board The MRB is here to help you with any sort of quests you may require. It will be the way you find any digi-eggs for armor evolution as well as the way you find your crests. Inside, there will be a form and an explanation. Read through the explanation, fill out the form, and you should be fine!
Records Here you can keep track of your character's crest, items, digimon evolutions and digitokens. It'll be a helpful little spot and its suggested you make use of it. However, if you'd prefer to write it all down in a notebook or something, you're welcome to do so.
Plotting Got a plot idea that could encompass a bunch of people? Or maybe you just want a girlfriend for your new guy character? No matter how big your idea, feel free to put it in here and see if anyone is interested.
Journals C'mon. You know your character has got to be taking notes of some sort! Let them all out in here, maybe it will strike up an idea, or give us some insight into how your character thinks.

File Island
The North The north end of File Island is a fairly diverse area. It ranges from somewhat chilly beaches near the center of the island to frigid, arctic temperatures at the farthest reaches, and it's got loads of stuff in between to explore as well.
The East The eastern quarter of File Island is rather dry and barren. Most of it is nothing more than desert, though there is the Great Canyon through part of it, as well as a maze of tunnels off to the north east. There's even a volcano, if you;re looking for a little excitement.
The South The south is much greener than the eastern portion if the island, filled with fields, swamps and forests. In fact, it's probably one of the nicest spots on File Island. Within it's borders is even the great, towering landmark of Infinity Mountain.
The West The west is rather close to the south in general appearance, however it is far from a clean green. There are sewers running through much of the land and trash is often littering many of the different spots. It's the prime source for dumping garbage, and it makes it a rather unpleasant place to be at times.
The North The north of Server is barren and dry. There are few oases in this vast desert, there there are a few particular landmarks to be aware of while traveling through. You may do best to avoid some.

The East The scenery in the eastern lands varies between heavily forested to cleared ground, though one thing is consistent; It was made for entertainment and unnecessary spending for the sake of leisure, ease and fun. The only problem? It's all so spread out that it takes forever to go from one spot to the next.

The South The south of Server is rather hilly, though none of the hills are particularly steep. In sharp contrast to Chip Forest along one border, the land is empty of quite a few things. The grass grows long, though you may want to watch where you're stepping. Never know what might be underfoot.
The West The west is by far the strangest of them all. It is a scattering of orchards mixed in with villages. In the middle is a large lake and a castle, though this is the only thing that doesn't follow the rest of the description.
The North The most accessible of the islands in the whole Archipelago –it is considered the “tourist spot,” containing most of the cities, towns and villages. The weather is normally cloudy and it is not uncommon to find mist clinging from the shores around morning and night. However, no matter what, the sun never seems to truly warm the chilly earth.
The East The most dangerous area in the whole Archipielago, the east is home to the deceased Digimon and the viruses. It is impossible to find any settlements here due to the instability of the Digimon who inhabit the perimeter. Disappearances occur often and items disappear from between your very fingers.

The South Filled with abandoned settlements, the South can be considered the origin of all those ghost stories that haunt the whole Archipelago. From graveyards to crumbling buildings the place has it all. The Digimon here are hostile and are used to being left alone, most will attack as soon as a stranger is spotted.

The West A bit of everything can be found on the west island of the Archipelago. Some can consider it to be just as dangerous as the East, although, here the dangers would lie more in the mind. The weather is normally cloudy and hot, although it can get incredibly cold in the winter. The place seems to be a mix of wild and abandoned.

Folder Continent - CLOSED
The North The north is a dark, quiet place, a sharp contrast to the eastern section it shares a border with. It is all dirt and sand, almost entirely flat, so flat you could see the whole section if you were somewhere high enough that perspective vision wouldn't interfere as much.

The East The east is, from the outside, an unnerving spot to step into. However, there is a calming atmosphere that leaves many perfectly relaxed and carefree; the perfect targets for enemies, even though most digimon here are friendly.

The South The south is a strange place. Everything has a grey tinge to it, with dull colors. As you get farther in, the colors disappear entirely and everything is in greyscale. In the middle of this grey area is a large, menacing castle.

The West The western portion of Folder is actually rather small, consisting of a series of cliffs, which merge into a single point out into the ocean. The land itself is fairly barren, though there are sparse patches of grass throughout.
